How does one function with these nails?

Forget about 3D flower nail designs or others like this. A young man has made a real work of art on his nails.
The yarns, grasshoppers and nails are the work of Alice Bartlett. The idea came to him while he was in a hobby store, and then he immediately went home and got into the job.
So, on his nails came some "characters", including an old man with a stick.
